HILLBROOK STUD
Set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, Hillbrook Stud has been breeding competition horses for over 12 years. Now specialising in breeding spotted, dun (buckskin) and Palomino horses for competition. We are proud to offer out two homozygous stallions at stud. We also offer all aspects of Mare, stallion and youngstock management. We have a DEFRA approved AI technician on site along with stallion collection and semen evaluation equipment. We are happy to talk to mare owners at any time about their individual requirements and stallion choice. We are always pleased to take mares at Hillbrook for a full insemination package for either our own stallions or outside stallions.
OUR STALLIONS
BY DESIGN

Fully pink papered czech warmblood Cremello stallion. Bred to event but currently beginning a career in dressage, under dressage trainer and rider Tom Graham. He has gained points in his first two outings and will continue to compete until the stud season begins. He has an exceptional temperament, is very trainable and passes his attitude on to his foals who have all been very straight and correct with nice paces and bold, sensible temperaments. Homozygous Agouti means he is unable to produce the undesirable smoky black foals. Guaranteed to give you a dun or palomino foal. Please click on the stallion page in the main menu for more details.
THORE VOM PFERDHOF

Double premium graded ZFDP and KNN lifetime approved fewspot knabstrupper stallion. He is the only knabstrupper stallion in the UK to have passed his 30 day performance test. Broken to ride and drive, he can turn his hand to most things and is suitable for producing both dressage and jumping stock. Homozygous for spots, so you are guaranteed a spotted foal when using solid coloured mares. Very rare purebred Knabstrupper. His foals are tough and sensible, inheriting the best of the Knabstrupper traits and all to date have been leopard spotted.
